An undergraduate Minor in Biotechnology is available for all students who have met pre-requisites in chemistry. This program is university-wide and combines NCSU's strength in agriculture and engineering resulting in a unique set of core and advanced course offerings that are highly relevant to medical, agricultural, engineering, and veterinary fields.

M.S and Ph.D. minors in biotechnology are available to students who successfully complete at least eight credit hours in selected laboratory core courses.
At this time, the Certification Program is open only to currently matriculated non-thesis masters graduate students.
